ECMCF 6th Annual Pet Show Coming!
It’s that time of year again! The ECMCF Annual Pet Show. Bring your Dog, Cat, Fish, Guinea Pig, you name it! Animals will be judged in a number of different areas and awards will be presented as follows:

The event runs from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. on Friday, August 12th located at Eaton County Medical Care Facility parking lot along Independence Blvd.
Entry fee is $10.00. Pets must have proof of vaccination.
Valentine Family Dinner
Resident family members of both Eaton County Medical Care Facility and the Healing & Recovery Center celebrated Valentine’s Day with family dinner night on Tuesday, February 15th. Entertainment was provided by Janet Burzan and Julie Weaver, Donna Goodrich and Tammy Schley.
Couple Says “I DO” at ECMCF
Love was in the air at Eaton County Medical Care Facility. A Valentine’s Day wedding took place in the Activities Room at 1:00 on February 14th.
The couple said “I do” as the grooms mother, a 3-year resident of ECMCF looked on. They decided to have a small ceremony at the facility so the mother of the groom, Maxine Vanous, could attend.

December Resident of the Month: Dale McAllister
Dale was born in Grand Ledge, Michigan on April 16, 1921. He later met and wedded his wife June. In addition, their family grew to having four children, 3 sons and 1 daughter. Dale worked as an Oldsmobile Supervisor at the Main Plant in Lansing until his retirement. He also enjoyed being on the School Board and the Fair Board in Grand Ledge. Dale now lives on Melody Trail where he enjoys listening to country music. So if you are in the neighborhood stop by and say, “Hi!”

2nd Annual Health Fair
It’s that time of year again. Flu season, holiday season, cold-weather season…whichever your preference, we’re here to prepare you. ECMCF and The Healing & Recovery Center is preparing for the annual Health & Wellness Fair.
This year’s theme is “Warmth & Wellness.” We’ll be here to share tips and information on stress management, sleep health, signs of hyppothermia and more. We will also be providing flu shots, and free health screenings.
